Breeze House
Breeze House reimagines mid-century modernist architecture for Australia's unique climate and landscape.
From a single-story façade to the street, the residence descends into a series of staggered pavilions that frame sweeping coastal views. A meticulously designed lap pool guides the eye seaward, while expansive white planes evoke cloud-like forms stretching towards the horizon. The material palette draws inspiration fromthe local environment, with slimline Kraus bricks echoing the sandy hues of nearby beaches.
The house incorporates mid-century features in a contemporary way, such as the central staircase that sweeps upwards from an interior garden.
The expansive views, airy volumes, and generous entertaining areas create a natural ease.
A twisting outdoor stair punctuates expansive white planes that stretch out towards the horizon.
